Welcome to CPR, Become A CPR Vox Populi Volunteer Advocate Today!
Stand Up. Speak Up. Help Lead Healthcare and Policy Back Toward the People.
When special interests get too loud, patients can get pushed to the margins.
The Coalition for Patient Rights believes it is time to change that.
CPR’s Vox Populi Volunteer Advocate Program exists for citizens who are ready to stand on the right side of history by becoming a visible, informed, values-driven voice for patients and families in their own communities and in the halls of Legislature and Congress. This is not about chasing a paycheck. It is about stepping forward without the shadow of compensation, speaking with moral clarity, and helping restore balance, compassion, accountability, wellness, and common sense to healthcare and regulation.
At a time when too many systems are shaped by institutional convenience, commercial pressure, and disconnected policymaking, CPR invites everyday citizens to become extraordinary advocates for a better tomorrow. With compliance and reporting support managed by Compassion Center, CPR Vox Populi Volunteer Advocates can focus on what matters most: helping lead the conversation back toward health, mind-body-spirit wellness, patient dignity, stronger public policy, and better outcomes for the people these systems are supposed to serve.
Why Become a CPR Vox Populi Volunteer Advocate?
Because real change does not begin with lobbyists. It begins with people.
It begins with the citizen who chooses to show up at a city council meeting, a legislative hearing, a local event, a health fair, a neighborhood gathering, or a meeting with policymakers and says, “Patients matter. Families matter. The public matters.”
As a CPR Vox Populi Volunteer Advocate, you become part of a growing movement of people who understand that healthcare policy is not abstract. It affects access. It affects affordability. It affects treatment choices. It affects housing, employment, education, family stability, quality of life, and in some cases, survival itself.
This program gives you a meaningful way to participate in measurable change while helping ensure that the patient voice is not drowned out by those with money, market share, or political influence.
The Benefits of Serving Without Compensation
There is something powerful about advocacy that is not driven by personal financial gain.
A CPR Vox Populi Volunteer Advocate stands with credibility. With independence. With principle. With service. With a deeper level of trust from the public, because the work is rooted in conviction rather than commission.
Volunteer advocates often become some of the most persuasive voices in civic life because they are seen for what they are: people who care enough to act. That kind of moral authority matters. It strengthens your voice in your community. It gives weight to your testimony. It opens doors to conversations that might otherwise be dismissed as self-interested or transactional.
It also gives you the opportunity to become part of something larger than yourself. You are not just supporting a cause. You are helping build a public record, a policy culture, and a legacy of advocacy that can improve life for patients and their families for years to come.
The Five Pillars of CPR
1. Bringing About Regulatory Change
CPR works to help redirect regulations toward fairness, evidence, accountability, and public benefit. Our advocates help identify where rules are outdated, harmful, overly burdensome, discriminatory, or disconnected from lived reality, then help elevate better solutions.
2. Highlighting the Inadequacies and Failures of the Current System
Too many people are failed by systems that are expensive, confusing, fragmented, or indifferent to patient outcomes. CPR shines a light on those failures so they can no longer hide behind bureaucracy, delay, or silence.
3. Educating People About the Treatments They Are Given
Patients deserve more than passive consent. They deserve to understand what they are being prescribed, what their options are, what the risks may be, and what alternatives may exist. CPR believes informed people make stronger decisions and healthier communities.
4. Improving the Environment
Health does not exist in a vacuum. It is affected by the physical, social, regulatory, and economic environments people live in every day. CPR advocates for healthier, safer, cleaner, more humane systems and settings that support long-term wellness.
5. Safeguarding the Use of New Technologies
Innovation must serve people, not exploit them. CPR supports responsible, ethical, transparent adoption of emerging technologies in healthcare and policy so new tools enhance patient care, protect privacy, preserve autonomy, and strengthen public trust.
A Special Focus: Descheduling Cannabis
CPR is proud to partner with the Stormy Ray Cardholders’ Foundation (SRCF) in the growing public call to Deschedule Cannabis.
This is not a niche issue. It is a national issue that touches healthcare freedom, patient access, civil liberties, research, agriculture, criminal justice, commerce, and public health. CPR and SRCF believe the time has come to remove cannabis from the federal Controlled Substances Act and help create a more rational, evidence-informed, patient-centered future on behalf of more than 300 million citizens.
For advocates, this means an opportunity to help support one of the most significant patient-rights and regulatory reform movements of our time.
A Unique Member Benefit
Every paid CPR Membership and CPR Advocate Support Program includes the opportunity to opt in to a Free SRCF Membership.
That means your support does more than connect you to CPR. It can also connect you to a historic patient-rights legacy through SRCF, strengthening the bridge between grassroots advocacy, public education, and the national push to Deschedule Cannabis.

What You Receive as a CPR Advocate and Compassion Center Supporter
CPR’s Advocate Support Program is designed to equip committed supporters with practical outreach tools, organizing support, and public-facing advocacy materials that can be used to help advance patient-rights conversations in the real world. Since we don’t do this for the money, and the Coalition for Patient Rights relies upon the Center for Incubation & Findings Research and the Compassion Center to support our entire Nationwide army of advocates with administrative, operational and research support, we ensure that all proceeds are donated to the Compassion Center, a 501(c)(3) public charity, in the name of the advocate (or business) so as to ensure proper credit for that essential and almost-invaluable support.
These support tiers are built to help local, regional, and state-level advocates organize visibly, consistently, and effectively.

Why These Advocacy Materials Matter
Advocacy is more effective when it is visible, consistent, and easy to share.
Postcards help carry the message door to door, event to event, and hand to hand.
Business cards create direct connection points and help advocates build lasting relationships.
Stickers help spread visibility in everyday spaces and spark curiosity and conversation.
Signs help reclaim public presence and create immediate awareness in neighborhoods and along high-traffic corridors.
T-shirts help turn supporters into walking statements of purpose, values, and public engagement.
Together, these materials help ordinary people become visible stewards of a better public conversation.
Replenish Your Advocacy Toolkit
Once advocates begin using their outreach materials, replenishment becomes essential and individual products can be ordered and even drop-shipped on an as-needed and even expedited basis. CPR offers restocking support for core advocacy items so volunteers and supporters can stay active, visible, and prepared.
Postcards
CPR postcards are built to help advocates share concise, compelling messages about patient rights, policy reform, and the Deschedule Cannabis movement. They are ideal for handouts, tabling events, legislative visits, community outreach, and public education campaigns.
Customized Business Cards
Advocacy is relational. Customized CPR business cards help advocates connect professionally, direct people to the right website and resources, and create a stronger sense of local presence and leadership within their communities.
Stickers (“Slaps”)
These high-visibility stickers are powerful micro-tools for movement culture, message repetition, and grassroots awareness. They help keep the campaign recognizable, memorable, and easy to share.
Yard Signs with H-Stakes
Deschedule yard signs are among the most visible tools in the advocate toolkit. They turn homes, events, offices, and public-facing spaces into statements of civic participation and patient-rights awareness.
Flyers
Flyers help advocates communicate more detailed information about CPR’s mission, the five pillars, local opportunities, membership options, events, and calls to action. They are ideal for bulletin boards, clinics, campuses, community centers, and grassroots distribution.
This Is Bigger Than a Membership
This is about building a citizen-led force for accountability, compassion, and better public policy.
It is about giving patients and families a stronger voice.
It is about challenging systems when they fail.
It is about educating the public.
It is about improving the environment around health and care.
It is about ensuring that innovation serves humanity rather than undermining it.
It is about protecting the future before it gets written without us.
CPR Vox Populi Volunteer Advocates are not bystanders. They are participants in the change they want to see. They are the people willing to stand up when others stay quiet. They are the neighbors, caregivers, patients, family members, and community leaders who understand that history does not only belong to those in power. It also belongs to those with the courage to speak.
