Stand Up for Patients. Show Up for Your Community.
When the voices of special interests get too loud, patients still deserve to be heard.
The Coalition for Patient Rights (CPR) is building a disciplined, informed, and solutions-oriented volunteer network committed to advancing patient rights, public education, compassionate policies, and stronger community engagement. Our volunteer advocates help support events, outreach efforts, educational initiatives, public-facing campaigns, and patient-centered calls to action designed to protect the public interest and help lead the conversation back toward health, wellness, freedom, accountability, and access.
As a CPR volunteer, you may receive access to select events and opportunities at no charge when serving in an approved volunteer capacity. In return, we ask our volunteers to show up on time, act professionally, remain focused on the mission, and help represent the organization with integrity, courtesy, and a service-first attitude.
If you are ready to be part of the solution, we invite you to sign up below.

Volunteer Expectations

- Arrive on time and ready to serve.
- Present yourself in professional, event-appropriate attire.
- Maintain a positive attitude and conduct yourself in a courteous, respectful, and solutions-oriented manner.
- Remain free from disruptive behavior, unnecessary distractions, or drama while serving in any volunteer role.
- Follow all instructions, policies, safety standards, and assignment expectations outlined in the CPR Volunteer & Executive Handbook, and other policies issued by CPR, or Compassion Center management, and/or the Office of Accountability & Transparency, or authorized event leadership.
- Refrain from smoking, vaping, drinking alcohol, or using tobacco, cannabis, or any intoxicating substance in or near any posted, designated, or assigned work area.
- Do not use tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, or any related product before or during service hours unless you have received express written permission in advance from the Office of Accountability & Transparency at OAT@compassion-center.org, which reviews such requests on a case-by-case basis.
Our volunteers are often the first impression of the organization. Professionalism matters.
